Why we put a zip on a men's rash guard

Why we put a zip on a men's rash guard

Easy on, easy off. The rashie with a front zip.

Every rash guard has the same flaw, and everyone just puts up with it: you pull it on over your head. Dry, that's fine. Wet, it's a struggle - arms stuck, cold fabric clinging, the least graceful moment of a good day at the beach.

For something you wear specifically to get wet, that never made sense to us. So we fixed it.

One change. A much better rashie.

We gave it a proper front zip. That's it, and it changes everything. On in seconds, off in seconds, one hand, no wrestling. Wet or dry, it just opens.

It sounds almost too simple. That's the point. The best fixes usually are.  The obvious thing nobody had bothered to do. Once you've worn a zip rashie, pulling one on over your head feels like a step backwards.

And while we were at it, we made it look good

Here's the other thing about most rashies: they're baggy, shapeless and a little daggy, like no one ever stopped to think about how they actually look on. Hanging off the shoulders, boxy through the body. Built for the water and nothing else.

We didn't see why sun protection had to mean looking like you've given up. So ours is cut to sit clean and close, with a proper front line and considered detailing. The sharpest rashie on the beach, not the baggiest.

Easy on, easy off

  • A proper front zip. On and off in seconds, one hand, no fuss.
  • No more wrestling a cold, wet rashie over your head.
  • Open or closed, however you're wearing it.

Everything else you'd expect - kept

  • UPF 50+ sun protection, so you can stay out longer.
  • Chlorine-proof and quick-drying, built to last season after season.
  • Designed in Australia for the sun and surf, ethically made, cut from premium Italian fabric.

Different where it counts

We didn't reinvent swimwear. We took the things everyone quietly accepted about rash guards - the wrestle, and the way they look - and made them better. That's what "designed differently" means to us.
